Why Animal Crossing might break your heart

New leaf is a beautiful achievement. But, for all the joy it brings you now, it may also bring you sadness and disappointment in the future. I revisited my towns from the past GameCube and DS games, and didn’t receive the warm welcome I was expecting. (3DS, Animal Crossing, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Animal Crossing: Wild World)

It's a great sequel, and it's good to be "back home", but outright calling it "beautiful achievement"... i don't really agree. It's more of the same plus a lot of new, and that's great, but let's not get ahead of ourselves here.
