Chart-Track hails strong Q1 as GT5 keeps PS3 motoring

There were more cat and mouse antics from Sony and Microsoft this week on the UK hardware sales front, with the release of Gran Turismo 5: Prologue spurring PlayStation 3 sales by 14 per cent as its post-Easter momentum continued.

If you crunch those numbers and the previous few weeks ones you can see that the ps3 is indeed selling well out here in the UK. Keep it up the momentum Sony. I just wish Sony would announce the 80/120/whatever gig. I know a few people who are holding off for a the 60 gig replacement that may not even be a reality. I'm sure it is, I just hope they bring it out near to the MGS release or at least announce it.
