Software_Lover1689d ago

You couldn't come up with something better?

No_Limit1689d ago

1 month later ......... Sony fanboys have announced that MS can't be trusted and will abandoned core gamers.

Mr_Nuts1689d ago

Yes because anyone who criticizes MS are Sony fanboys

Get real man

YNWA961689d ago

BS, plenty of 'hardcore' Sony fanboys will also buy X1 because they are just gamers... They will just try keep it secret...

KwietStorm1689d ago

lol jeezus it's not even about Beloved Sony vs Holy Microsoft it was just a joke. What.is.the.deal with everyone on this site being so opportunistic and defensive? The gaming community is it's own biggest enemy, and people really want cross platform gaming? We need to exercise our own demons first.

gaffyh1689d ago

@no_limit - Ignoring the Sony fanboy bit, that already happened 3 years ago, pretty much since the Kinect launched. And it's true, MS will probably do the same with Xbone, support it with exclusives for 4 years and then give up.

She's currently responsible for Windows 8.

RIP Xbox's focus on gaming.

torchic1689d ago

wasn't she responsible for Windows 7 as well?

I don't have Windows 8 myself but most people I hear say it's good apart for the Metro start page replacement.

I really don't like Microsoft but this could be good news for them

rainslacker1689d ago

She's responsible for heading the division that made Windows 8, 7, and the common features between different devices. That directive came down from MS though, probably with her input. It was a corporate thing. To say any one person is responsible for a huge MS directive isn't really fair. I think that applies to Mattrick as well. Mattrick's biggest problem though was that he just came across really bad when talking to the press. I doubt he was the only player in MS initial policies on the X1.

MS gaming heads always look like nfl loving beer drinkers who reminisce about their college glory days and now a corporate/soccer mom.

.......... I think I see what you did there.

Im so happy to see a woman taking over.

EXVirtual1689d ago (Edited 1689d ago )

Why are you getting so many disagrees?

Edit: I'm definitely getting my daily dose of MS antics. Lol

mushroomwig1689d ago (Edited 1689d ago )

He's getting disagrees because what he said shouldn't mean a thing. Why would he be happy that a woman is taking over? What difference should it make?

The only thing people should be concerned about is her lack of experience, not her gender.

Anthotis1689d ago

Because he's a sad beta male.

NihonjinChick1689d ago (Edited 1689d ago )

I'm a girl and even I don't see why it matters if a woman or man takes over.

I just hoped it's someone qualified that can clean up all the shit off the fan.
I don't think she is the person for that and more shit will hit the fan.

I usually disagree with u but I am glad to see a woman also.

But she looks like a lame soccer mom who hates games.

If it was Aisha Tyler? sure. But this chick likes windows 8 ugh.

Reborn1689d ago

Why does it matter if its a man, or woman? If I'm the CEO of a company, I couldn't care what sex you are. If you're an excellent candidate for the job, you should be considered. If its proven that you clearly surpass the other rivals, you should be given the position.

It's like implementing a quota for females needed in senior positions. You're basically forcing businesses to put woman, who may not be up to the job, in senior positions. It has no purpose, realistically.

Gimmemorebubblez1689d ago (Edited 1689d ago )

If Phil Harrison gets the jobs then the infiltration is complete.

On topic: She is responsible for Office Ribbon.

GABRIEL10301689d ago

Sure, Phil is the hero behind enemy lines xD
