Monolith Soft's "X" a Game Designed to Last Decades, A Game that'll keep improving for Years, A Great Story that Never seems to End.

I not a Nintendo fan but I am a JRPG fan and honestly this game is very impressive. If the actual game lives up to these trailers then it will be a truly next-gen JRPG masterpiece. This game may just be the first killer app for Wii U and it may even force me to buy one.

The most BADASS trailer E3 I've ever seen. Sawano Hiroyuki, Mecha, Monolith-Soft = Best combination ever.

Kos-Mos3942d ago

Uhm, how about Tetsuya Takahashi?

Gameexplain alwasy do the best trailer analysis.

_QQ_3942d ago

In their last X analysis they stated that none of them ever beat Xenoblade,it certainly shows in this trailer.can't wait for this game.

Xof3942d ago

To be fair, Xenoblade is an -enormous- game.

krontaar3942d ago

Only if you do every side quest. The main story is a typical JRPG length, if they couldnt even beat it then that's sad.

CLOUD19833942d ago

I beat it but because I like to explore & sidetrack a lot my final save was 200 something hours long :P but my chars was umber I kick last boss @ss for fun :D

What a game I enjoy it immensely me want moAr games like this one :P

Best JRPG series of the last 5 years imo

repsahj208d ago

I agree 100%. My top JRPG so far, together with Baldurs Gate 3 and FF16.

autobotdan207d ago (Edited 207d ago )

There is no together at the top. There is only one top jrpg series. Xenoblade Chronicles series is alone at the top

raWfodog207d ago (Edited 207d ago )

I like the Xenoblades series but my ‘top’ series would be either the Trails series or Persona series. Just too many good games for me to just pick one series though, so I say play them all lol.

autobotdan207d ago

You are hereby excommunicated the church of Xenoblade Chronocology

CappyBlack207d ago

I'm not huge into JRPGs, but my favorite is easily the Persona series. It's all opinion though. Xenoblade is a great series.

Tetsuya Takahashi Wants The Next Xenoblade To Be Vastly Different From Previous Games

Tetsuya Takahashi has revealed his plan to make the next Xenoblade vastly different from previous games.

GotGame818238d ago (Edited 238d ago )

I liked the Xenoblade X formula. It takes awhile, but opening up Mechs was amazing. Especially once you can fly them, and use them in battle. You have to put some time into the game to do it, but it's worth it!

Also, the graphics were more realistic than the other games. Still looks good today, just a lot more pop-in than is acceptable today, hell even too much for back then. It wasn't game breaking though.

gleepot207d ago

Xenoblade 1-3 and X are so great. That said, I'm ready for them to do a big change up.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed Brings the Xeno Saga to a Glorious Close

Xeno fans rejoice! The six-part saga has finally been told!

Xenogears was originally supposed to be a six part series, but Squaresoft cut the budget for the first game and canceled future plans. Xenosaga, published by Bandai Namco, was its spritual successor, and it too was supposed to be a six part series but was cut to a trilogy after subpar sales for Xenosaga 2.

Future Redeemed is by far the best DLC of the Xenoblade series, achieving its lofty goals of introducing new characters, reconnecting with older ones, and closing a narrative that Monolith Soft’s main man Tetsuya Takahashi has been trying to tell since 1998.
