This gen, Ubisoft have heavily backed their Assassin’s Creed franchise, pumping out a new game every year, and it looks like they have a similar long-term plan for Watch Dogs. - PSLS
Please no. I don't think I could take yearly entries of WD and AC.
why not? I know they seem to milk their franchises but here is the thing. Assassins creed 2 and brother hood were amazing. There is so many directions you can go and each game is almost a new experience in its own right. For Watch Dogs, they need to do hell of a lot to keep selling lots of copies yearly. Honestly, if they add enough features and keep it interesting, I don't mind yearly releases. But if it has lots of recycled items and only adds some features that can be patched, but they still charge premium price for it that yea, I'm with you, no thanks. They are making interesting games lately.
ac2 and brotherhood was amazing. You can thank Patrice Désilets for that. Since he left the series been pretty much garbage. AC3 was the worst one in the franchise.
Vote with your wallet. Simply dont get it they will get the message as for me if these games show constant improvement then I have no reason not to get them you know.
... cause they'll be DLC-milking it, so I would rather just wait 9 months orso and get a 'complete' release for a fraction of the money.
I stopped supporting AAA games anyways. Especially Ubisoft's.
One and done if they start milking , then ill buy the rest years down the road and make sure i get used copies .
Who's forcing you to buy it?
Its the fact they know they made a good game and they are going to try and force it down our throats so we don't get behind . God i could barely catch up with Assassins Creed saga , I got burnt out before i could finish Assassins Creed 3 .
Sighhhhhh double post . Sorry
Crimson, really.... you have no will power to say don't want huh? lol. The difference here is Watch_Dogs is real world happening right now. So the game could go on forever. Hell, we could even more from city to city. Country to country... it's happening all around you as we speak. Hell, it happened in real life to Ubisoft today in fact, lol... Once you've seen it. How do you look away? :D
Abby. I see what you mean... Lawrence`s st0ry is neat... on monday I bought Mercedes-Benz S-class from having earned $5335 this - 5 weeks past and-just over, ten-grand lass-month. it's definitly the coolest job Ive ever had. I actually started 6 months ago and practically straight away earned more than $78 per/hr. I went to this site,,.......... http:www.Jam10.com
I don't think it's a bad thing. You can always pick them up for cheap later or not at all. More games to play each year is great as long as they don't suck. Maybe they will do a new AC one year and WD the next. Keep them on a rotation.
No Surprises(Also the title of a Radiohead song)
The only way I would want yearly additions to the series is if multiple teams are working on them. If not, then there will just be short stories with little replayability, and Ubi will expect the MP to carry them along.
Yearly Milking Coming Soon.
"Watchdogs: Los Angeles" confirmed for 2014-2015.
Games are essentially becoming interactive movies. Or you can call it episodic content. I tell you this, if I like it, I will buy it. I'm interested in Watch Dogs. See where the sequel goes when that time comes.
And by that, Watchdogs Brotherhood confirmed. You'll be able to create a guild of hackers.
What if watchdogs is an assassins creed game. Hacker assassins! Templar police.
Watch dogs should come out at most every 2 years. Builds anticipation and they have time to make a better game.
I finished AC3 and was very disappointed. First time I didn't bother with finishing side stuff. I swore off AC after that game. Then they went and gone all pirates on me! I can't resist! Plus ship battles were the best part of ac3. Honestly though, I enjoy the mp in AC games most of all. Watchdogs looks great! But as games get closer to today I find myself losing interest.
if you didn't finish the side stories like homestead missions or the assassin character missions then that is your point because they are great side stories and finally recruits have personalities
I think Ubisoft games usually suck, especially pretty much any after AC2. I will admit they have a few small titles, Bastion and Clash of Heroes, that are cheap and awesome. Ubisoft knows how to make a good idea go bad and I expect Watch Dogs and The Division to flop. Also, I love how they ignore the android platform.
Rayman Origins (and legends, soon)say hello. AS well as Far Cry 3 and AC3 were great, i don't care what others think.
I wont buy a yearly game of Watch Dogs. I am buying the 1st for PS4. If part 2 comes out before 2 years I wont buy it
Headline should be: "Ubisoft has 10 year plan on how to milk gamers with Watch Dogs"
