Investor Approval Rating For Satoru Iwata Drops To 77.26 Percent

Nintendo Life: ''Nintendo has just released this year's investor approval ratings for its top staff, and Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has seen his score drop from 90.60 percent last year to 77.26 percent. In contrast, the rest of the company's executives all scored over 90 percent.'' (3DS, Culture, Nintendo, Satoru Iwata, Wii, Wii U)

Iwata needs to step up, being the only exec to score under 90 and the first time a nintendo exec scores under 90 is a tell tell that some thing needs to be fixed and fast.

nah people just hating Nintendo non stop nowadays
-patent wars
-gaming media bashing them
-company bashing them without every trying to optimize --their engine

If it wasn't for him Nintendo Success with Wii, DS and 3DS wouldn't exist nor would many games such as
Bayonetta 2 because in the first place Sega would even have money to even fund many games because most of their profit came from Nintendo systems with Sonic.

In all fairness people have a right (and reason) to be critical. I've seen a lot of different opinions about Nintendo and not all of it is mindlessly hateful drivel. Not that that sort of crap doesn't exist, mind you.

" nor would many games such as
Bayonetta 2 "
LOL, yes many games, such as this ONE game which very likely most gamers would DIE without.

If you are a WiiU owner such as myself you should be pretty damn disappointed with the way things have been going.
On the other hand, if you are just a blind fanboy than sure, pretend Nintendo is a victim and make excuses for them.

Right, no one is mad that their investment value dropped by half in two years.

It's just TEH HATERZ.

When are they going to realise that Nintendo is run by old men, who are clearly out of touch with what their target audience actually want?
Dj7FairyTail  +   792d ago
Target audience arent the haters but the people who want the to succeed

I have to wonder what Hiroshi Yamauchi's approval ratings during the n64-gamecube eras were. Because there were a lot of mistakes made then.
Nintendo has been profitable in video games since the 80s, so they won't be quick to jump ship. I even think Iwata's here to stay for a while (unless he resigns), especially when Iwata reigned over the Wii and DS eras, where Nintendo basically printed money. Hell even made the gamecube, nintendo's worst selling system, proftitable. The man's not an idiot, and he can still turn this around.

If iwata got canned I'm thinking a lot of talent may leave Nintendo. Only a hater would think this is a great idea. Maybe they should buy out the bad eggs because 2014 is approaching.

How the hell did you come up with that idea? And it's only the haters ;) if you were a little more open minded you'd know by now. ;)

Good grieve you're annoying,

Iwata is a veteran developer at Nintendo. He started there pretty much from the start. Iwata knows Nintendo and has valuable experience that would take a new guy several more years to gain.

Were you dropped on your head as a kid?
