BNR: There are a plethora of titles on Steam, a good deal of which are platformers. Platformers have it rough nowadays. Unless there is a unique gameplay element at the core of its design, platformers go unnoticed. That’s not to say they aren’t fun. I believe even the most simple of games can be fun so long as every aspect of the game is done well. Rush Bros doesn’t try to be innovative like games such as FEZ or Braid. Instead it opts for simple, fast paced platforming with flashy visuals and music to match. Unfortunately the game doesn’t quite come together as well as it could have, making Rush Bros a fun, but often frustrating experience.
