Newly released High resolution screens and captures from Gran Turismo 5: Prologue. Featuring F40, F2007 and others.
So full of win. Want.
i miss my s2000 :(
and me, couldn't get the kids in it
I love the sound of the engine on the s2000, very nice
IGN Gamespot etc cant seem to manage to get screens that look accurate.
I can't wait...:)
And yeah, why can't IGN or Gametrailers get their footage and screengrabs to look like amateur forum posts. Hell, Gametrailers still refuses to put their PS3s on RGB Full, and even got caught lying about not being able to capture HDMI feeds.
If this looks real to you then you see the world through funny glasses.
All smoothed up, I still get jaggies especial when you unlock a car for the first time, this game is over hyped, 6 tracks, repetitive and boring, online people are idiots, ramming each other. GT5 is Dead.
Have to dissagree.
I completely agree and moreover, I see no difference with the first demo available one year ago (even more jaggies) and It's unbelievable to have so much SCREEN TEARING on at least 3 of the 6 tracks (I don't know exactly how much since I decided to sell that game before going further). I used to be a GT fan but now they really, really have a lot of work before releasing the final version. OK, I prefer to go back to Forza 2 which is a lot better (even if only in 720p).
n00bs talk like they know about everything.
Although it would be sad if you're steering through a difficult corner and your SUXAXIS controller breaks in two parts... http://www.xboxkings.com/in...
Mart are you so desperate to get people to view your pathetic website that your posting link's here now just grow the hell up will you and start acting like a gamer. That is if you actually play games from what i have seen of your comment's you spend most of your time here bashing Sony then actually playing them.
Than getting half an hour into GTA4 and your Xbox implodes into a sphere of anti-matter under the stress of actually being turned on.
Mart...your website sucks...seriously...never link that crap on here again...
media this isn't the full gt5 game.
what's the monthly traffic of that pitiful site??? 20 people??? :(
To answer your question: This month: 5391 but we've had some scoops before with 7k visitors a day. You know whats 'pitiful'? A PS3 SUXAXIS dat makings cracking sounds, breaks and can be shined through with a light :S
yeah right... of those 5391 you made up.. 5371 is just you. pitiful site :(
Xboxkings.com sucks a*s and I have reported your comment as SPAM for advertising that garbage site here on n4g.com,others please report TheMART's comment as SPAM;) Edit:I ment to reply to #2
I picked it up this weekend and I think its amazing. Gameplay & graphics are top notch and I'm having more fun trying to get gold on tracks/scenarios then I am playing online. If you're more into arcade racers maybe this is not a game for you but as a sim it's top notch. You complain about the lack of tracks (its a demo) but trying to master each car on each track is so enjoyable. Shame you sold it, should've put some more time into it
Will people get of this sim crap. This is much as a sim as lego starwars, are people sim confused with fake? Sim means true life like, hate to break it to people this is nothing close to life like. Quit buying into false pretenses people my god.
....so how would you compare this to a game such as burnout & PGR4. I think the game is more lifelike than any racing game I've played. Please let me know which game you think is more 'sim' then this. I believe the definition of 'Sim' is below seems like GT5 hits it on the mark. Definition: Sim (short for simulation) is a genre of video game that aims to simulate an experience as realistically as possible. Common types of simulations are flight sims and driving games. Emphasis is often placed on accurate physics and real-world limitations in simulation games, and they are often closely related to serious simulations such as those used for training pilots and military personnel.
Of course simulation is fake. Do you even know what "simulate" means? Whats with the sudden new users trolling with negative fanboyish comments?
@ 6.3 You have to be kidding. Screen tearing??, the game has a tiny amount of tearing and I didnt even notice it much on the track that is apparantly the main culprit - London. As for jaggies, yes there are alot, but it is a significant improvement over GTHD. For you to say there are more is a complete and utter fanboy lie. Forza 2 is good, but in reality it is a poor cousin and ripoff of GT. If the advancements between GTHD and GT5P are any indication, the full game GT5 is going to be a revelation. 360 will never have a car game to match GT. FACT!
You finally agree to what I'm saying (only for the screen tearing but play more and you will see more and more screen tearing since the number of cars is growing on tracks) but you seem to disagree with me. If you think the final version will be better than forza 2 it's your opinion and I wish you are right. But this prologue version is really not convincing technically speaking. The real FACT is that they have a lot of work before releasing a convincing final version.
lol just because you dont own a ps3 doesn't mean you have to get jealous :P. I bet you never touched a GT game in your life lolz.
We are not talking about burnout or pgr4 sonyfanboys always does this. Statement is everyone calling this a sim and it isnt even close. Physics there isnt physics in this game, i have drove a integra 4wd and it doesnt come to almost a complete stop when i take a turn like it does in the game. Some of the cars in the game handle like how they should but alot of cars handle nothing like that real counterparts. I have never played any kind of sim that doesnt allow you to crash. But you should be penalized for hitting a wall or getting of track just like in real life. There also should be some tuning like in real life so you could tune to the track differences. Let me know what makes it more of sim than any other racer.
Ha, how about the inability to use rocket boost to jump from a ramp onto a highway 50 meters above. If you don't consider games like forza and GT5 sim then please let me know what game would be considered a sim. And with my definition that I posted earlier a sim tries to 'simulate an experience as realistically as possible'. 'As Possible' is the key poitn -doesn't mean its spot on and 100% perfect. Don't see why you're calling me a fanboy for saying its a good game. Keep drinking that haterade buddy... Have you also tried setting the driving physics to Professional?
You need to read this link before you mouth your noob mouth off about sims. Grand Turismo is used for practice by professional F1 racers http://www.gamegrep.com/new... Just because the game doesn't do collisions doesn't make it any less of a legitimate sim. Perhaps what this game is telling you is that you need to change out your tires or get some better brakes loser.
Anyone who has played half of the game (what is it still too big for you to finish?) would have come across the races with full penalties. <Hint: Nissan Special event> Also you claim to have driven one car that is in the game? Was it track? Where you pushing as hard as what you do in the game? From the reviews I've heard from pro racers its extremely realistic. Further more I own a rather spritely little car, and i know from first hand experiance, pushing a car hard makes it drive nothing like it handles at soccer-mum speed
the jealousy over this game is beginning to become ridiculous. man i can't wait to see what these guys start posting around the time the rest of our big games start coming out. i can't wait to have a good laugh. just like i do when i read these stupid comments people leave. guess what guys it's a video game. it's not going to be REAL. if you want to drive a real car go drive one. and as soon as the 360 gets a car game that comes close to GTHD. let me know. let alone gtp or gt. pathetic. long live solid snake.
