Resident Evil Revelations 2 Promotional Poster Leaked

Resident Evil Revelations was a great succes according to Capcom. Earlier Capcom's Masachika Kawata told IGN he wants to make another game in the Revelations series. According to leaked posters this could be Resident Evil Revelations 2.

Probably becuase it's doing very poorly and thus not a very profitable environment. Don't get me wrong it's a great system, but barely anyone is making anything for it. Likewise the system is suffering like this because there's no games. A self-fufilling prophecy there.

As for this, I doubt it's real. You would think Capcom would have announced it earlier.

Why is it that Capcom has to go our of their way to support a system that, even now, few people actually own? They aren't first party. I may not like Capcom, but I dislike your notion that they should, for whatever reason, support the Vita.

It would be nice if they did, they don't HAVE to, and prolly will never make a single game for it from how they seem to be avoiding it, but it would be nice.

I would like RE to be on the Vita so I can have a second anolog stick without haaving to buy an addition that should have been on the system to begin with.

It'd be great on Vita just don't see it happening unfortunately. But I'd love ANYTHING right now for my Vita. Last year I played my Vita more than my 3DS with Assassin's Creed and Little Big Planet AND Battle Royale but this year there is NOTHING that I would want to play or really nothing in general. I was disappointed with it this E3.

I REALLY hope this is true. The original was such a great game and if they took some of the ideas they had especially from the teaser trailer with the Chris clone looking thing? It could be AMAZING. And if they stayed on the 3DS then that's really cool too. It seems that Resident Evil does the best when it's on Nintendo consoles. I mean look at RE0, RE Remake, RE4 and RE Revelations. Then look at RE5, RE6, Operation Raccoon City, Gun Survivor, etc. Although if they are going to hypothetically keep it Nintendo exclusive I think putting it on the Wii U would be a help to the system that's struggling right now.

First thing's first Capcom:

- Where is the Resident Evil (Portable/Revelations/or otherwise) game for PSP/ Vita?
- REmake and RE Zero for PSN / XBL ?

Even as a longtime fan of the series, I voted with my wallet and did not buy RE6 and Revelations because of Capcom's f*** up decisions regarding the franchise.

Sad to say but Resident Evil is dead to me. Capcom has ruined one of my favorite gaming series by milking it to death and trying to appeal to the "COD crowd". They've got a long way to go to redeem themselves in my eyes.

Meanwhile, Shinji Mikami's "The Evil Within" looks promising....

Anyhoo... Revelations is actually a really good Resident Evil game. You're hurting the franchise and yourself by now playing it. Capcom said, if Revelations got enough sales on PS3 & 360, they would take the series BACK to it's roots.

So by you skipping it, you're just as responsible for killing the franchise as much as Capcom is.

This is the same CAPCOM that promised and cancelled MegaMan Legends 3 on the 3DS, am i right? That kinda ruins their credibility dont you think?

Nope, that's not how it works. I'm tired of these companies' bait and switch moves. NO CLASSIC RE, NO MONEY FROM ME. As simple as that.

there are 30+ million 3DS units sold. It's not very expensive to make a 3DS game, so their they would spend less resources, and would still be able to crack a million in sales easily.

This looks pretty fake, but I sure hope it's true. Revelations is my favorite 3DS game to date and on par with RE4 as my top Resident Evil game.

I don't think they would do a staggered release again knowing the game will sell. If it comes to PS4 I hope it has 3D.

Loved the first on 3ds it was amazing. I'd love it to become a side series for the Nintendo handheld. I love my vita but this is perfect for 3ds and each system needs killer exclusives, well vita needs games period so maybe Capcom can throw them a bone idk. I hope its a reality though il buy it day 1.

Since they are making another for 3DS, we can assume that it might get the port treatment again.

This might also be a sign that this is the direction for the franchise that they like now and maybe the next "AAA" console/PC main entry will be created in a similar fashion.
