"...here is the grand list of games that came to both PS3 and Xbox 360 during the Wii U's lifespan, but have failed to make it to the Wii U" -AATG
You can't list games that were in development way before the wii u game out/announced. Plus what wii u owner wanted a port of a game released on the ps3 and xbox 360 before hand.
Someone who didn't play it on the PS3 or 360.
Yeah, Nintedo sucks balls, we know!
That's crazy talk, Nintendo what? Looking at the big picture the Wii U is awesome. Super Mario 3D looks good but I was expecting a Super Mario 64 like game. It's a fresh game and is a must buy. Rayman: Legend, Batman: Origin, Deus Ex: HRDC and Splinter Cell: Blacklist don't tickle your feathers. Zelda: Wind Waker HD remake looks very good. While Zelda HD will most likely come in 2015, Monolith Soft X will come next year and it looks stunning. Donkey Kong: TF, Bayonetta 2, Super Smash Bros and Sonic: Lost World will be bananas. I am just not thinking of a Playstation 4 or Xbox One, that list of games looks good.
Pffttt Nintendo has lots of 3rd-party support... Just that a lot of those make party/crappy licensed/fitness games. Remember when the PS1 wasn't put yet? Remember how Sega and Nintendo dominated the console market? Remember how the Wii was a surprise hit, and it was the first highly successful Nintendo console since the SNES, but now the Wii U has turned that around? Remember how the NES and SNES got plenty of awesome third-party and first-party support? Remember when there was a NEW STARFOX? Remember when Nintendo didn't give two sh!ts about Metroid on its 25th Anniversary? Remember the awesome GameCube? Yeah, remember the good old times with Nintendo.
to be fair fist of north star and mass effect should be taken off of this list because they are both on the wiiu.
The reason to buy a Nintendo machine is for first-party titles anyway.
Yeah, but you gotta admit: when it comes to the other consoles, you can also argue you're buying them for the multiplats, as well. As in: you got a 360 for the exclusives, but the multiplats are still there. On Wii/Wii U, that's not so much an option. Which makes the last two Nintendo consoles more secondary than anything, as you'd need one of the other consoles for all the good multiplats.
I really hate to see Nintendo struggle but they are to blame. They are way too conservative in there game approach and haven't made hardly any new IPs, their name probably confuses the general public into thinking its a Wii add-on rather than a new console, its too expensive for what its offering, and I still haven't seen a must-buy title for the platform.
Most of those games I dont even own on my PS3, meaning I'm not interested in any of those games listed. So, in my my eyes Wii U is doing fine. It still has WatchDogs, Splinter Cell, BO2, Ninja Gaiden Razor's Edge, Assassins Creed IV and more goodies. I'm only mad that Kingdom Hearts 3, n The Crew isn't coming. Other then that plenty of goodies in my opinion.
Very powerful list. The wii's success allowed Nintendo to forget about 3rd party "core" games. Hopefully they realize strong 3rd party can help fund Super Strong 1st party titles.
WHO GIVE A CRAP. IT all about the EXCLUSIVES!!
What sane person wants these titles?
