PlayStation Mobile's understated rise to relevance

Gamasutra: "It's fair to say that PlayStation has had a rather good few months. But while the PS4 has been creating buzz for Sony, there's another PlayStation platform that has been silently growing while no-one is watching." (Mobile, Sony)

PS Mobile could Make the vita very relevant. Just imagine a Store with the amount of apps/content comparable to an android market or apple app store.

I really hope it starts thriving soon. I mean really. Where are all the random/cool non-game apps even?

I was thinking of PS Mobile the other day when there was an article about Quantic Dream hiring mobile devs.
