A look into the Spartan Ops game mode on Halo 4 and how it could be improved in Season Two.
Season 2 will not happen they realize its populariy and are going to use it as hype for next Halo, just a guess but watch I bet this will come true.
i dont know what your saying but the seasons are tied to the games so season 2 will probably be a part of Halo 5 or w.e the next halo is called
lol nice user pice
i dont think 343i is bringing spartan ops to h5
Just another troll, move along, nothing to see here
They can improve it by allowing you to play offline. Forced to have Gold was dumb, can hardly call it part of the game when no eveyone can enjoy it
I was going to say the same thing.. I only ever buy gold when I buy a 360 exclusive(but not a year membership though), So anyway I went back to playing halo 4 just the other month and wanted to split screen Spartan Ops and it said I need gold to play.. I thought it was just a glitch? Certainly is a dumb move.
How about not using the same map every episode? The idea was really cool, but really poorly executed, the missions were dull and the maps were just ripped out of the campaign/mp and used over and over. Felt very rushed for me. They should have focused less on the cinematics, and more on the actual gameplay of the spartan ops.
To be fair, the second half of Season 1 (after their mid-season break) were very good maps and didn't take 10 minutes to finish like 1-5 did. Edit: But by the time the second half returned, a lot of people had abandoned the game mode (and the MP itself.)
We still don't know what will happen when ms turn the 360 servers off- currently you are required to sign in before you're allowed to play. Basically renting it until ms sees fit to say fuck off now In this sense 343 or ms remain a bunch cocks. Just allow us to buy the content giving us freedom to play it when we want but also without the concern down the line we'll not be able to play. Very much enjoy Spartan ops but it's pointless playing it even when I know they can take it back any time Respect for these guys remains down the drain regarding what they did here
