Damnit why is it that the crap companies are doing well, yet the hardcore one's suffer? I love Atlus! They brought us these series:
Trauma Center,
Demon's Souls,
Shin Megami Tensei series,
Persona series,
RPG Maker,
3d Dot Game Heroes,
Tactics Ogre,
Demi Kids
King of Fighters

Yet Activision makes money by selling the same crap engine every year. This is a terrible time in gaming.

Actually the core game business of Atlus is doing well and is profitable, it's Index's other stuff that is doing badly. Which is why the situation is not as bad as the term "bankruptcy" sounds.

Atlus should be fine.

I hope sony will buy it.. please save at least Persona 5 for PS3/PS4.. I really enjoyed P3FES and P4G

That would be epic, but the parent company isn't at that stage of bankruptcy where they have to start selling off assets yet, and they are pretty much relying on Atlus as one of their few sources making a profit, so I don't see them voluntarily selling Atlus off unless forced to.

After reading the article I am not totally freaking, but still a little nervous... I love all things Atlus
