The Last of Us Review | PS Addiction

The Last of Us is not for everyone. It’s a harrowing, brutal game, complemented by bursts of extreme violence and filled to the brim with despair and desperation. Yet, despite all this, it’s also a strikingly beautiful, philosophical work of art, which seeks to show how far a person will go to protect someone they love. No, The Last of Us is not for the faint of heart, but for those who take the time to lose themselves in this brutal world, they will not only find an emotionally compelling and engaging story, but will discover one of the finest gaming experiences ever made. (PS3, The Last Of Us) 4.85/5

4.85?

Now we're arguing semantics...

Does that actually make sense? o_O

That's the point.

a Score like 97/100
or 4.85/5 doesn't make sense.

Yeah, it's like, "This game is absolutely worthy of a perfect score. But we don't do that, so here's a number that's really damn close, instead."
