The game was developed at the University of Auckland, which is in New Zealand not Australia. From what I can tell the voice actors are from New Zealand too.
Youth suicide is a big problem in NZ so hopefully this game can help reduce depression.

Yeah I noticed that, but yeah its a big problem everywhere man. I personally know a few that took their lives because they didn't talk about their issues even though it would be hard to..

i suffered of depression in 2007 and i was on meds for 2 years...still feel goosebumps when i think of that time.
