Ubisoft CEO: work on franchises until 'it needs a break'

Shack News: "As one of the largest third-party publishers in the biz, Ubisoft has quite the portfolio of IP to draw from. Some franchises have been long-dormant, which begs the question: what is Ubisoft's strategy with maintaining their brands?

CEO Yves Guillemot explains that Ubisoft's approach is to iterate on a franchise until they can no longer innovate." (Industry, Ubisoft, Yves Guillemot)

Assassins Creed definitely needs a break.. Part 3 just felt like a chore to get through after the 7th sequence. I had to will myself to finish it instead of being compelled by fun to finish it.

I'm not picking up 4 on launch, I'll wait for the bargain bin prices. I already have too many must have titles I'm picking up this fall and two of them are from Ubisoft (Rayman/Watch Dogs)
