Live streaming video platform Twitch released a nice-looking stat sheet, which details its E3 2013 stream data, and there are some interesting numbers to be found here.
probably because people watched the MS's conference on Spike.
I was thinking on the xbox live event player, it was only right in the center of the dashboard.
Exactly. I would have watched the Microsoft conference on Spike but I don't have cable, so I watched it on the 360 live player. I watched the Sony conference on Twitch.
Can Microsoft win at ANYTHING??? lol I know its just Twitch but COMMON. I thought this was supposed to be an Xbox 1 app and there were more SONY viewers then Microsoft? That's hilarious! Its already been stated from the founders of Twitch that the service does not belong to anyone. Its just a matter of time before a deal is struck with SONY to have this app on the marketplace.
I don't find it funny, but I do find it ironic.
i find it ironically funny.
Yeah it will be on both. Twitch shows live streams of SOE games already. In fact there's supposed to be some PS4 Planetside 2 gameplay tomorrow.
wow that is really something and very interesting indeed
I watched both on GTrailers. There is no real way to tell which was viewed more, after all Sony had Multiple Streams and non-sony ones as well, not to mention it was during American time so it was night for a large part of Sony's market. not to mention the Xbox had multiple streams and was on spike.
So did i.
I would have thougt MS numbers would be higher since its an Xbox One app
is xbo app out yet? lol MS was on tv also
In addition to Microsoft's press conference was televised on Spike, Sony's press conference was also live in the evening when those of us, like me, who work during the day were home and able to actually watch it. I actually tried watching Microsoft's press conference some on my phone via the Twitch app, but my phone's data speed couldn't keep up and I had work I needed to focus on. However, I watched the entire Sony press conference live on Twitch at home.
hmm, let see, you can watch MS E3 conference on Spike. Of course that would cannibalized viewership on Twitch. Sony conference wasn't broadcast on Spike. Anyways, it is not like Sony viewership was 2-3 times more than MS, it was just by a hair. MS = 413,400 unique viewers Sony = 430,060 unique viewers
Good to see Ubisoft almost doing EA numbers.
There was an article that twitchtv might work on the ps4 as a streaming option here is the link to it http://game-insider.com/201...
Sony wins. "Xbox, self destruct"
I watched Microsoft's E3 on my Xbox. I watched Sony's through Twitch (though the stream was lagging like crazy on my end).
