How do you pronounce his name? Yeh-Vess Gill-eh-moe? Why-vess?

Closest you can phonetically get in English is probably something like "Ees Gee-uh-moe" (the uh is short and blended with the ee's)

cd project and valve before blizzard imo

but blizzard is third

old bioware used to be up there for me as well

I dont know. For me ME2 is in every way better, especially the gameplay that was really bad in ME1. I wanted to replay it recently and it just plays so bad.

Can you honestly say the main plot was better in ME2 than ME1? Not the characters, not the companion quests, the main collector plot.

That segment with Joker on the Normandy was only ever possible because the writers made Shepard go "Hey Joker, we're going to go on 'the mission' (what mission is never said)" and then proceeds to pack every single teammate who could fight into a what was until this point a 3 man shuttle.

That is lazy writing, and unfortunately it's just one example of many in ME2's plot.
