Gamedaily writes: "This morning, THQ revealed WWE Smackdown Vs. Raw 2009 for multiple platforms. We've already covered most of them in our other preview, but we wanted to focus on the Nintendo DS edition to tell DS fans what they can expect. A few fundamental changes for the series should make it a much better experience than last year's merely average chapter.
Primarily, Smackdown Vs. Raw's development is now in the hands of a new team, the folks at Tose (who developed the awesome Dragon Quest Rocket Slime). Based on an early preview build we saw in action, the 3-D action holds up well, and the wrestlers look and mimic their real-life counterparts. We watched a match between the high-flying Rey Mysterio and the powerhouse Batista, and it almost resembled watching a real WWE event in action. There are some camera issues (especially with wrestler introductions), but the THQ rep assured us that they will be fixed in the final game."
