Rev:In a historic move, Microsoft officially reversed a ton of the Xbox One's much debated always-online and DRM functionalities last week. What does this mean for the industry, and for this fall's next-gen battleground?
C'mon Sessler. Stop making excuses for the Xbox One. I'm sick and tired of "we should wait and see". We were told to "wait and see" for the Durango reveal. Then it was "wait until they confirm or deny the DRM policy". Then is was "wait until E3". Now it's "wait until Gamescom to see more" and "wait until launch".
Yea people will wait and see.....when the price drops to 300$ and they think of maybe buying ONE.
Didn't Sessler already open his trap about this topic?
About the reversal? I haven't seen anything from him till now. I liked Angry Joes rant best.
Yeah, Angry Joes rants on this topic are good. At least AJ acknowledges that MS had fucked up and wont forget about it.. what worries me is people will just let it slide, and will come back with it when we least expect it. Digital age may be the future, but not right now.
The apologist continues his ridiculous Microsoft protection rants. Fucking enough already, join Polygon, Sessler..
Maybe unlike most of you, he looks at things realistically and he's a real journalist unlike most of these crap biased sites on N4G.
Yeah, he looks at it so "realistically" that he adds PS+ & the OPTIONAL camera to the PS4 price and some how keeps forgetting that the Xbone 180 also requires a Xbone live membership. Even IF you buy both those for the PS4, the system remains cheaper AND more powerful.
i really like sessler.. and hes making sense as usual.. but we have seen enough.. ps4 it is
Sessler's right on not deciding just yet.... I haven't preordered yet and will wait until around launch before deciding.....will get both but not sure which one first.....
After multiple rrod I told myself I would never buy another launch console from them. I waited until they fixed it with the slim models then I got another 360. Same can for for Sony with the whole ylod but that happened to me 5 years in my consoles life span. Other than that I would of had trouble choosing to.
I have both preordered, though I'm only getting one at launch. Once I decide, I'll just transfer the money from one to the other. I've learned to always get a warranty with consoles, it's well worth the money in the long run.
Sessler must be one of those people who's proud of trumpeting how he has **nothing to hide**
I completely agree with him but he needs to at least come out one of this times a say Xbox fucked up and leave it at that. I seen him do this to Sony but cant remember him doing it to Microsoft. Either way he made a good point
I like Adam. I think that he and Morgan were the best part of G4, after The Screen Savers were taken apart, but I must admit that I am confused by his constant reference to Sony leaving something out or something that Sony has said that was somehow unclear. Sony has been very clear in respect to used games, rentals and restrictions. Adam often comments on the cost of the Xbox One being $100 less than the PS4 and then brings up PS+ and the PS Eye as an added cost to bring both in line with each other, but he leaves out that XBox Live is an added cost that puts everything exactly where it is now. Adam may claim to be unbiased but his words paint a different picture.
