Lol, I keep seeing RE6 on sale for under 20 bucks new and always pass it up. Sorry, Resident Evil died at 5 for me... When they go back to what made the series what it was, I'll buy them again.

RE & Scamcom died to me with that game. Between the horrible game play with a forced AI partner to the Scamcom ripoff tactics of locking the MP on the disc and charging for it.

RE5 was the last Crapcom game I bought.

The only way they can do that is to reboot it because they made it too silly and ruined good characters in RE6

I still say they should reboot it but start again from the mansion incident so it's like a rbeoot/retelling, add more rooms, enemies, backstory like an advanced Resident Evil Remake which was on Gamecube, change things around which would affect the future timeline and by the time RE4 comes around they don't have to have all that plagas crap, you could find out that Wesker learnt of the plagas, saw it as a threat that other rival companies would use it or eventually steal it and instead of stealing it he decided to bomb the village killing everyone thus the plagas being not exsisting

Fans would experience RE in all it's glory

Fans would have their favourite, NOT RUINED, characters back

We'd get to experience Raccoon City again but this time in HD

Wesker would be back and might get a proper death in the future instead of that volcano bullcrap

I reckon it could be fantastic if done right,

somehow a women getting fire powers from a vrus isn't silly -_- i'm TIRED of the mansion setting, and the old setting, its was the same thing over and over and BECAUSE OF THE FANS COMPLAINING, they changed everything to the new style, and you people won't be satisfied even if they remade the first game or did that old stiff outdated gameplay style again, WE'VE ALREADY EXPERIENCED RACCOON CITY IN HD, they need to stop backtracking, say, screw the nostalgia fanboys because they'll never stop whining, you especially -_-

"i'm TIRED of the mansion setting,"

But...only one game was set in a mansion. o_O
(one and a half, if you could Umbrella Chronicles)

"and the old setting"

But... only three games were set in Raccoon City. (Not counting Operation Raccoon City, because that game was a piece of shit and city barely resembled Raccoon City at all.)

"and you people won't be satisfied even if they remade the first game"

But...they DID remake the original game. And it was excellent.

"they need to stop backtracking, say, screw the nostalgia fanboys"

That's exactly what Capcom have been doing. On what planet have they been catering to the nostalgia fanboys?? They've flat-out admitted the audience they want to attract is CoD fans.

Oh look at that I didn't even need to say anything...thanks Pozzle :)

somehow i was stupid enough to think RE6 was gonna be a good game and preorder it on STEAM for 60 bucks

i only played like a minute of it..

the moment i was running on those rails and dodge a moving train with an helicopter .. i said to myself

OK.. its shit... im out.

never touch it again

Cam9771126d ago

No, Resident Evil is dead to me. I hope The Evil Within takes its place and lives up to the hype.

Speed-Racer1125d ago

Sorry, but RE was only fun back when I was 7 or so. Pretty much got lame after that. it scared the crap out of me back then... so let's go back to those days.

mcroddi1125d ago

Surely we will hear about it in the fall, maybe 2014?
