Cliff Bleszinski lashed out at gamers via Twitter as a show of disappointment with Microsoft's decision to repeal their anti-used game and lending policies. Here's why he is wrong to do so.
Cliff lashed at the people who buy his crap? How important does he think he is?
He thinks he's the most important person in the video game industry
He should crank that chainsaw gun up from Gears and shove it up his ass. He's so freaking annoying!
@Relientk77 Its funny because he legitimately thinks he is.
Cliffy B is always full of crap.
who cares.. he got his bitch ass fired ages ago. hasn't done anything but bitch and moan since then.
He made Gears of War and cites Miyamoto as his biggest influence. He's basically gaming's Michael Bay.
is this some kind of a pun?
I bet cliffy was very vocal to Microsoft about DRM and gave his two sense in when the Xbone went in to R&D. I will no doubt buy an Xbone but not at launch
Another episode of Devs gone wild...
going full retard! never go full retard, Cliff!
"Never go full retard" you say? I laughed, therefore a bubble vote for you sir.
lol, funny to sse what this guy protect so hard now give him a huge middle finger straight to his face
Cliffy B, you and Microsoft were wrong for your always online, 24 hour check-ins, and DRM. Get over it.
You could "Family Share" on the PS3 w/ 5 PS3s. Now you can only share w/ 2 PS3. Microsoft took away "Family Share" to punish you, not because they had too. Hardcore Xbox fans are in abusive relationship w/ Microsoft, They slap you down, you blame everyone else and go crawling back.
you forgot to add, sharing the game with your family member like the library, it'll be huge, will have alot of book, but the library have the return date, hence the 60 minute restrict (aka time trial)
I didn't know a digital era equated to 1984...
Microsoft was read but the industry wasn't is more like it. Especially with Gamestop playing a huge role in Microsoft changing their plans.
Microsoft wasn't ready, either. All they were doing was forcing the online and digital. They weren't at all planning to cut prices to compensate, or give any of the other benefits that should come with digital. They just wanted the part that meant they could have lots of control. Any benefits to the gamer were an afterthought.
Guy wants to stay relevant.
You mean become relevant again? It's been quite a while already since he last was relevant.
I dislike Cliffy B, he thinks he's all that
Hey, you know how you turned all that water into wine and what not, any chance you could turn Cliffy B's whine into stfu juice?
But they were ready to bring Usher to E3!
So he can't voice his opinions because he's an EX dev but people on n4g who mostly likely never made a game can? That's some crazy ish!!!
"If this industry can't find a way to make money off the primary market -- even with DLC and exclusive pre-order content and HD re-releases and map packs and online passes and annualized sequels and "expanding the audience" and AAA advertising and forced multiplayer -- then, if I may be so blunt, fuck it." - Faceless007 http://neogaf.com/forum/sho... It's not for the developers or publishers to decide what's the best for the industry, that decision is solely for the consumers.
For misdirected people like cliffy b and devs and journalist that support these type of actions you will always come under the consumer first we guide innovation it starts with us we fund your innovation on us your dreams are only envisioned when we give it the okay
Cliff B, Microsoft and the publishers can go take a hike. Their DRM logic doesn't make an ounce of sense. If the car industry, the music industry, and the movie industry doesn't have the right to profit from my used goods then what gives them the fucking right? What make the greedy bastards from the gaming industry so special that they get to tell me what to do with the products that I already legally own?
Very well said. The whole "shared library" benefit is just another speculative scenerio IMO. They didn't even announce it until the first wave of complaints came in. I think such a sharing system would've impacted first-hand sales, and I bet one of the reasons Microsoft reversed their decision was because they realised the shared game library would be unfeasible. Just like Sony reduced their digital sharing plan on the PS3 from being able to install a game in 5 consoles down to 2. It was never hardwired into the Xbox One from the beginning, they made it up after the X1's announcement to garner good PR and they had no idea how it would work and what the repercussions would've been. I think it's far more likely that Microsoft would've change the shared games library feature than them going back on their word now and re-implementing DRM after the Xbox One's launch. It would simply be corporate suicide if they did. They've proven they fear the backlash so it isn't likely they'll do anything to stir it up again.
YEah CLIFFORD B HATE TRAIN. I'm aBORED. CHOOO CHOOO! Another stupid egotistic WHITE BOY running his mouth who thinks he's gods gift to gaming for making some platform exclusive third person shooter. whooptifreakindo. heres your award. shut up and go away.
Cliffy B is just trolling. Back in your cave I say!
Cliffy b is that annoying fly that just won't go away!
Very well written. Cliffy B is definitely out of touch and appears to hate the hand that feeds him. A smart man would side with consumers or keep his views to himself. His views have been proven to be antigamer and pro establishment. He is a selfish, conceited idiot who would have us sacrifice our rights so he and his more affluent friends can make more money.
Ooh they where ready, till the bean counters started looking at the pre order numbers. Thats what it was all about, they could less what gamers want.
