I bet real hackers are going to try to hack this game to see what they can do..

i like it, feels fresh, nice twist on the cat and mouse scenario, hope they are different modes and way more players online.

This needs more explaining for me. What is the purpose behind all this? Does it do anything towards player progression? It seems pointless if you really watch the video.

So a player comes into your game, starts hacking something of which has no reason, and you just have to prevent them by chasing them far enough away or killing them... Idk, for one thing, the guys he's chasing in both segments, seem to be AI, so I don't fully get what's going on here. The video is not clear on every aspect.

I am extremely excited for the game overall, i'm just disappointed when I heard that people can't hack into your game during story missions, or even side missions. I had expected it to be like Dark Souls where people can invade you, and just F*$K S#!T up however they wanted to. Not the case here, as it's ONLY in free roam, and nothing about it seems to make sense or have a purpose.

I don't know about the point of hacking someone else to be honest, maybe gain more XP to get more upgrades? I'm not sure, I did read that when you invade a players game (or however it works), you will appear as Aiden Pierce on your screen but on their screen you will appear as a random citizen so I think the people in the video aren't AI but actual human players running around.

The purpose of hacking, from what I gathered from an interview, is to enhance your database (which seems like influence) in the world. This equates to the ability to open up other areas, gain rewards, etc. The guys from the segments were not AI, they just looked like AI (like assassins creed). All of this probably has some sort of "points" system that can be used in some way. (question that wasn't answered in the interview) Overall, it's like a game inside the game. The more you hack others games, the more susceptible you are to being hacked yourself. Also, the feature can be turned OFF when you start your game.

Real players appear as AI/NPC type characters in game.

It would be dumb if there were a bunch of main characters running around.

You are your main, even when you enter others games, you just appear as an AI or NPC in their game so you can blend in.

I get that they appear as the AI characters, I remember hearing that. What I mean is how it acted, it didn't like human controlled, and very scripted, like a side mission almost.

This build looks so much better than what was demoed at Jimmy Fallon interms of frame rate and pop-in. That either must have been an old unpolished build or the current-gen version (which doesn't make any sense given the PS4 controllers). Ah well, other than that, this looks intesting but I would like to see some scenarios that aren't only cat and mouse chases.
