Robert Purchese described the shop as tiny, "like a corridor". The Boxpark container area the shop calls home is packed with other stores of the same size.
A Xbox One only shop....are GAME f****** kidding. They've just got back on their feet and they waste their money on this. Come on
Yeah, really stupid to be opening an exclusive shop of any kind after their money troubles.
More like MS paid them to waste *their* money. Of course if it doesn't pay off, GAME will likely end up losing more than they've been paid off with.
"Waste their money"?!????!?! This is Microsoft you're talking about.
GAME have always been pro Microsoft. I don't know why though. Maybe money was exchanged?
What is this, a shop for ants?
Box park is not too far from where I live...in Shoreditch. There are loads of small pop up style shops there.
This is Europe my dear. We don't feel the need to make everything massive and brash. This is not unusual... We call it "boutique" shopping, and we are all the better for it.
The shop needs to be at least 3 times bigger than this... Don't worry, at least I knew you were referencing Zoolander Edit: I'm aware it's not a direct quote, but the intention is clear to see.
Mugatu!! Love the reference, love the movie! *How can we expect to teach children to learn how to read.... if they can't even fit inside the building?
Wow, any type of exclusive shop in their position is ridiculous. Did MS pay for this? Because if not, then they're utter idiots. The XBOX ONE is also the least compelling console right now so it's odd that they would choose XBOX. Game deserve to go to be honest.
Needs to be small for the 2 people who are going to use it. This is a ridiculous decision by GAME. As if they have the money to waste on stuff like this. I mean who shops at GAME anymore? "Hmm, online this game is £36. But I want it right now. I could go to Tesco or Sainsbury's and get it for £38, or I could go to GAME and get it for £45. Or I could pick it up used, later, for £10 more than CEX."
Way to support the games retailers their kid! Not!! I would die before giving the blood sucking supermarkets my cash for games!!!!
I don't know if any of you people are noticing, but the current Xbox 360s have the biggest market share in the UK so what is the problem with GAME opening one London store to display MS game products? You guys can spin anything out of nothing. Next week, GAME opening PS store in London. N4G readers, "Sony won!!!, we love you GAME" confetti flying and Champaign bottles popping.
Shooting down the Sony fan-drones is the only blood sport they haven't banned... Enjoy ;0)
It looks snazzy. (I've always wanted to use snazzy in a sentence)
