GDC Next will feature talks from former Microsoft game director Adam Orth, thatgamecompany and Disney this November during its inaugural game conference, Gamasutra reports.
Oh yeah Adam Orth...the guy who was fired from Microsoft for telling people to deal with DRM and being "insulting" to people only for the same company to do exactly same but ten times worse, resulting in a PR nightmarem, ever since they revealed the console.
I bet he has plenty to say...he could start with the word "hypocrites".
Orth probably saved MS from an even bigger PR disaster. I think the Xbone was always online and was meant to be but after the backlash of the "just deal with it" MS decided to change their policies ever so slightly. If Orth hadn't have made those remarks on Twitter than I wouldn't be surprised if the Xbox One was announced as always online back at the reveal. What on Orth would MS do without Adam.
Without his arrogance the angry snowball may not of reached the size it did by the time of the reveal and e3. Well done sir, your name will be immortalised in business studies text books forever.
This guy definitely saved more backlash for microsoft. It definitely wouldve been worse if they announced all the restrictions at e3 & I dont think microsoft wouldve tried as hard as they did to secure all those exclusives because they really were arrogant & full of themselves so thanx to this guy microsoft actually had to prove themselves & sony, & gamers, & Jimmy Fallon, they had no choice but to get rid of those restrictions. This guy prolly had the last laugh seeing microsofts plans go down the gutter.
How is this guy a hero? When he originally said the XboxOne was going require a net connection and that we should #dealwithit everyone called him an arrogant arsehole. But now, because he is no longer working for Microsoft, he is a hero? #fanboysrfulloshit
lol Adam Orth, i wonder what he is going to say.

I'm speaking at this convention...#dealwithit
I had to.
Suddenly i gained respect for this guy after seeing he was the less rotten of the apples (MS)
