People talk about the ps4 having better ram & slightly faster gpu performance. Yet there must be magic under the hood for the xbox one because it's been stated that the xbox one can do 4k ultra HD gaming and the Ps4 CAN'T. I try to tell people there is more to tech than sheer numbers...Architecture plays a bigger role along with your software tools & other system resources. Normally MS comes out bragging at E3. They just showed games and didn't really tout how the xbox one is truly next gen. Though the games shown spoke louder than words.

Xbox One will indeed support “Ultra HD” gaming at 4K resolution. It looks like games will be 1080p at launch, though 4K games will certainly be available down the road once Ultra HD TV sales pick up.

Sony has confirmed that the PlayStation 4 will also support 3D and 4K. At the platform's announcement in February, Sony explained that the PS4 will support 4K output, but only for content like photos and videos, not games.
