its my first FF game so i probably won't understand what they're talking about but i'm just interested in the gameplay.

i just had to see what all the fuss was about with this series before the big games come for PS3. i'm still up in the air about those.

i gotta finsh GoW:CoO tonight and i'll try to start this tomorrow.

Play on Hard. it's less Button pressing and more strategize yourself to make sure you stay alive. Great portable game.

Played a little bit here at work and it seems a little more button pressing and less time to think about the moves. Going to play it on normal until I get more comfortable with it then start it on hard so I have to strategize more because that is the fun of the games.

I prefer selecting menus with some time to think personally but I can't pass up a FF game and I won't miss out on this one.

For people that didn't like how the menu driven fighting worked in previous versions, I think there will be new people that will like this. As I'm a little old skool with the game I still prefer the route at least with FFXII where I still had some menu driven fighting.

It's like a mix between kingdom hearts 2 and FFXII controls to me... still the story is already starting out really good and I can't wait to see where it goes even if I know I might get frustrated with the limit break system or controls :)
