Activision will launch a "focused merchandising programme" with Bungie in 2014. (Activision, Destiny, Industry, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One)

The giest of it is, Bungie will start offering different kinds of merchandise for Destiny. LIke they made Halo toys, apparel, gaming headsets and accessories.

Not an uncommon practice.
