Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate director hints at possible next-gen console port

Last week at E3 2013, I had the opportunity to speak with Dead or Alive 5 director Yohei Shimbori of Team Ninja about the upcoming iteration of his game, DOA5 Ultimate. When I asked him about a port of the game to the upcoming next-generation consoles, he hinted at such a possibility. (Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate, E3, PS4, Team Ninja, Xbox One, Yohei Shimbori)

Well, they could have just jumped to DOA6....
... like they did last gen (DOA3 on Xbox: DOA4 on current gen)

Personally, I didn't buy DOA5 because of the DLC milking, but I've been enjoying it through PSN+ and it's a very nice fighter.

If they manage to release a complete version (including all DLC) for next gen, at a decent price. I would probably buy it.

The DLC is cosmetic, overpriced, but cosmetic. Nothing in the way of extra characters or levels you have to buy. I only get the stuff they offer for free myself. Actually really enjoy the game.

There is no DLC milking in DOA5. It only exists if you tend to milk your wiener in front of this game.
It's only cosmetic DLC which you can use to support makers of such great game or do not give a damn.
I fail to see fellow gamer a serious dude if he makes non-educated statement as such.

You are not losing anything by ignoring it, but sure you are an arse by not supporting such a great sequel(failure to support great game equals to failure as a gamer to me). One of the most fun fighters this gen IMO.

And I play fighting games for quarter of an century.
