3DS owners can now download a new system update.
Oh, wow. It's really nice to be able to back-up savedata. Wonder if it'll work for cart saves, too. Will have to try it out. Now I can use GoogleDrive to have the most secure back-up of my save files, ever. (Speaking of which, if you've got multiple PCs, I strongly suggest using LinkShellExtender to create folder junctions in to put PC games' and emulator games' save files in GoogleDrive. There's nothing cooler than, for example, saving a game of FFVI on my laptop, and picking up where I left off on my PC without any hassle at all).
Still waiting for the unified account system, Nintendo. I really want to throw money at you, I really do. But you make it so hard!
Possible unified account system before the end of the year, according to sources at E3.
What sources? All I've seen is Nintendo reps constantly backpedaling.
You can judge this source... http://nintendoeverything.c... I realize that this was first suggested LAST E3, but at least the rumour isn't going away.
