E3 2013: Hands-on with Super Mario 3D World and its cats [SideQuesting]

Doug Lang of SideQuesting writes:

"Though Super Mario 3D World has some novel ideas, and the return of Peach as a playable character is a welcome addition, there are still issues that seem to plague the game, reminding us of the things we DON'T like about modern Mario games." (Super Mario 3D World, Wii U)

I like mario kart 8, but i am not sure about this one.
It has too much of a New super mario bros vibe to it, but with a Mario 3ds skin on it.

Seems to be more of a competitive marathon platform game, then a true platformer.

This is nothing like NSMB....it's more like a micro version of Mario 64's ideas and looks mixed with newer mario games.

It looks fun, but not as fun as a Mario 64-2,galaxy 3, sunshine 2 game

I still want it. I'd rather have a proper 3d Mario, but I loved the 3ds counterpart and this looks great as well.

Hope you enjoy, but not spending a 60$ on a Mario game after the feeling i got from NSMBWIIU.

Well I enjoyed NSMBWIIU as well, I guess it depends on preference. I didn't think it was the best Mario I'd ever played, but the level design was tight and as far as platforming games go it was up there with the best.

Maybe not top ten, but there's no other games on other platforms in that type that come close.

It could have been 50$ I have no problem paying the money, but it wasn't a 60$ game period.

Online multiplayer, what the f was that ? Laziness

Two music themes being played to death, the F ?

The Van Gough levels were good. Where the F was more that ?
