Hands-on Impressions of Knack, a PS4 Exclusive Platformer

Sony had a playable demo of Mark Cerny’s Knack at their E3 booth this past week, and I had the pleasure to play this next-gen platforming title. I like the looks of Knack. Looks clean and not too cartoonish.

I like clean looking graphics where you can tell what is what.

Trees look like trees..roads roads..wood is wood, stone is stone, there is no mish mash of yellow tint and brown washed out colors.

I am looking forward to this game. I pre ordered a PS4 bundle from Amazon that comes with this game. Even got launch day guarantee for it too. I will also be getting other games for it on launch but this one is for my kids and myself.

Honestly it looks bad. I was looking forward to it back in feb but not any more. Bland, empty environments. Little to no platforming, just a shallow beat em up where the enemies disappear out of thin air. They should really delay this game.

I'm really excited for this. It reminds me of the golden, PS2 days of Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, and Sly. It was a beautiful time.
