Sony's Andrew House stated in an interview recently that the gaming industry can't rely on high-end games to much and how they hope Playstation can be a good place for big budget as well as small indie games.
Yes offcourse. I love big budget games but having just them gets boring over time and expensive as well. Little but interesting and unique games in between is what we need. Sony focusing on the indie devs is a big plus for them. Mark my words. The indie scene will be critical for this gen's console race.
man i hope cube world comes to PS4.
Remember the days when a game could be high-budget, AND creative?
Sony's been listening to Jim Sterling. that's a good thing...
Jim is now really one of the the heroes of this industry and seems to be doing a lot in sharing his opinion as a gaming journalist, no matter how vulgar the truth is. This is his defining piece of this whole debacle: http://www.escapistmagazine... If only outlets like IGN, Gamespot and GameTrailers would be allowed to say what's on their mind like Jim does.
Sometimes the gaming industry really reminds me of the movie industry... all cgi and no story. Of course there are exceptions ;-).
Gotta love Sony, they really have seemed to have done a 360 this Generation.
Wouldnt a 360 just be a circle and put them where they were? ;) I think you mean 180
"they really have seemed to have done a 360 this Generation." Going in circles?.....lol yea.
i thank sony for bringing flower to the platform, i urge anyone who hasnt played that game to please do so.
