Message behind the mock Xbox One used game instructional video
At last, a clear video regarding the intent of the system, Microsoft should use it :)
Old man counting money LMAO.
lol that was the highlight of the video
Indeed, funny video http://whatgifs.com/wp-cont...
Don't think of MS restricting used game sharing, think of them letting you share them in the first place and taking a small profit for their troubles After all, MS is taking a hige risk in allowing game sharing in the first place. Think of all the money Sony is losing by allowing game sharing to go unchecked. /s
Wow. Even though Microsoft doesn't charge money to share used games, people are making videos of them charging to share used games. I swear that most people don't check out readily available information.
Don't think anyone knows what is actually involved. partly because MS have reversed themselves a few times.
From the official release. I've starred the relevant sentence: "In our role as a game publisher, Microsoft Studios will enable you to give your games to friends or trade in your Xbox One games at participating retailers. Third party publishers may opt in or out of supporting game resale and may set up business terms or transfer fees with retailers. ******Microsoft does not receive any compensation as part of this.****** In addition, third party publishers can enable you to give games to friends. Loaning or renting games won’t be available at launch, but we are exploring the possibilities with our partners." source - http://news.xbox.com/2013/0... If they went back on this, it would be suicide.
The only good thing about xboxone sharing is the fact you can share your games with 10 friends. PS3 only makes it possible to share with 1 buddy. I hope on PS4 sony will do it like ms, id love to share games with all my pals!
Both have thier pros and cons. MS share option can only have one person play the game at a time. So it means you can't play the same game with your friend if its being shared. Sonys share option is that you need the original psn id and info of the person that bought the title . So you would need to give them your info if you buy a digital title that you want you friend to play. But it would mean you both get to play the title at the same time.
I wish it was 5 consoles activated again.
10 "family members", not 10 friends. There's a big difference and being very word specific is how these big companies operate. These 10 people probably all have to have set up their initial Xbox live (or carry over from 360) accounts on the same console that they all share at home. Then when they log on to their account from a friends consoles or second home console etc, they then still have access to all the games on that first (family/home) console. They really need to explain it in detail, I doubt it'll be as simple as PSN Game Sharing as that would cut severely into game sales and therefore game sale profits. I'm pretty sure my description is on the money though.
You have 10 friends in your life? How sad!
10 good friends is good enough . How sad is your mom for giving birth to you facebook kid that has 1000 friends that knows no one of em. Dont try to troll me for pointing the obvious kid.
