Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze preview: First play on Wii U | Pocket-Lint

Pocket-Lint writes:

'Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is another of a slew of titles that Nintendo has announced at this year's E3 convention in a bid to get the fans on board with the Wii U console.

You'd be forgiven for mistaking Tropical Freeze as "Returns 2" as the game has much the same feel of its Wii predecessor. But that's the Nintendo way - it's a company that digs into its franchises and while it delivers a similar experience with each iteration of its titles, that's almost always means a wonderfully crafted experience.' (Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Wii U)

They actually bought back the composer for the old DKC games, David Wise. Guy made some of the best soundtracks of the 16 bit era.

Those new donkey kong games are so gay lol.. (homosexual)

No, honestly why are they making these stupid donkey kong games. The updated graphics don't work, the art direction is awful they look lame.

Just make DKCountry games using that old SNES engine, sell them every year on that nintendoEshop for like 10 bucks and make money.

People LOVE the old SNES donkey kong games, it would cost like.... $2 (or less?) to make the game, due to the outdated engine. Sell them for like $10, and watch the money roll.

No King K. Rool? GET THE FUCK OUT!
