Check Out The Info And Video from the Final Fantasy XIV E3 Letter from the Producer Live

Today Square Enix streamed a new Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Letter from the Producer Live directly from E3. This time it was a peculiar one, as it was in English, and instead of Community Manager Toshio Murouchi, Naoki Yoshida was accompanied by Localization Team Lead Michael-Christopher Koji Fox and Community Manager Matt Hilton. (Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, PC, PS3, PS4)

I'll be waiting a bit longer as I'm not going to get the game until it releases on PS4! So glad they decided to release it for that platform :)

You can get this on PC and ps3 if you do not want to wait. then when ps4 comes out you can get it on that. Your character will transfer.

If I get this game for PC, would I be able to transfer my character to the PS4 version if I decide to do so on a later date?

Of course! I been playing for 2 yearsa already and all data is saved.

They have confirmed you can use your same account on any system you have. (account is character or characters its all tide to your account)

I think characters can be accessed from both as long as you purchase the pc and ps4 version.

Edit: Dno beat me to it.

Yes if you buy it on the ps3, ps4 or pc you can play the same character from every platform. Also if you ever purchased this game on the pc you do not need to purchase it again you get it for free. I plan on continuing to play on the pc for now and i might pick up the ps4 version later.
