The flair that was present within Saints Row 3 is in full swing in Saints Row IV and that’s both a good and a bad thing.
The last game in the franchise left a bitter taste in my mouth with its drastic change in direction from Saints Row 2. Forced humour, extremely short campaign, lack of compelling characters and dull mini-games were turn-offs for me.
It was the polar opposite of Saints Row 2 and I was left unimpressed.
Saints Row IV ups the ante by pitting you as the President of the United States, having an alien race attack Steelport then thrusting you into a virtual Steelport where you’re granted superpowers.
