Killzone: Shadowfall gives you open-world choices | GamesRadar

GamesRadar: "Most shooters take you on a linear path, pitting you against enemies as you turn down a corridor and blast your way straight forward. In the PS4 exclusive Killzone: Shadowfall, the developers are striving to give players multiple gameplay options by dropping them in open missions. For the majority of the levels in Shadowfall, players will enter an environment and then they’ll need to survey the optional objectives and determine which ones they’ll complete first." (Killzone: Shadow Fall, PS4)

will this killzone be the answer to halo ? I hope so.

Speaking of that.............
Would you guys pay for an XBone version of Halo 4 at launch? When I say XBone version, I mean a version that was created alongside the 360 version but specifically for the XBone.

The only thing that would probably be different would be the graphics.

What are you doing round these parts with that wii avatar. Get outta here!

No, I may buy an Xbone1 later on if Halo piques my interest. Never played halo games, but maybe I could see myself later in the future buying an xbone1 just for some hardcore game like halo.

Overall, Sony is the go to console for media, hardcore games, casual games, family games, etc etc..

Did Halo ask Killzone a question? And if it did, I bet it went something like this: "Damn, why you look sooo fine?"

On topic, this is a good move on GG's part and the game still somehow manage to put out top notch graphics while expanding on the gameplay.

Oh cool so it's gonna be like Medal of Honor airborne...I always liked the fact that you could choose the objective you wanna do on that game.

Sounds similar to the map/mission structure of the first Ghost Recon. If maps are designed like that, this may be the first Killzone title I've been interested in. It would be nice to see more open battlefields like that in single player campaigns.

The killzone fans are divided, some people like the ISA and others love at the Helghast. Indeed, everybody begun playing like ISA in Killzone 1 and 2, and the things were going ok, the Helghans were the bad guys and Visary a mad man. But with Killzone 3 , I played 6 hours of campaign and in the end I was converted in the worst villain of the all universe, killing million of people and destroying an entire planet. The worst ending ever made in all history of the videogames industry, since that day I hate ISA and I play always at the online like an Helghast.

Shadowfall is very enigmatic and promissing: nice graphics, new characters, good gameplay, large and open scenarios, nice art, futuristic weapons and the game is very tactical. All of this things looks good, but the tiny line that separates the game of the success is the Story, how GG can make an interesting story to keep the interest in the franchise? Maybe with separate campaigns (Helghast and ISA) for satisfy all the fans and of course in the multiplayer be able to chose sides.

I think that if this not happens, the future of Killzone is sealed and maybe Shadow Fall will be the last game of the franchise, however I have grat expectations and of course I'm very excited about the game.

I'm a huge killzone fan and I admit 3's ending was awful, especially in comparison to number 2. It was a quick and easy way to end the game with a cliff hanger but what was even more dissapointing then what happened was you had to press a one button quick time event, it looked epic but I didn't feel involved at all unlike when I fought Radec on hard mode that boss battle was epic in comparison and much more memorable. The set pieces and variety of environments and the scale in 3 was better over all though, I didn't mind the grey dark kz2 atmosphere but im not complaining bout helghan jungles and snow maps either

Radec was one tough son of a bitch.
