She's the female version of Nobuo. Enough said...

She's not Nobuo Uematsu but I really, really like what I've heard so far. Seems like this game is gonna have a very memorable soundtrack

Do you think these final fantasy games would be completed faster, if they didn't have to pay the CGI guys so much?
Snookies12  +   674d ago
The CGI is starting to look close to the actual gameplay with XV. It's really freaking pretty in-game. Not to mention the fact that it'll be open world (or at least have a world map)... How is that going to work? It's pretty crazy to think about considering the last Final Fantasy to do that was 9.

This'll be cool. Her KH stuff is great, but I think the more light-hearted tone of that game kind of restricts the tone of her music. It'll be sweet to hear her tackling something more serious like this. What we've heard so far is pretty cool. Kind of straight forward but I'm still excited to see what else she comes up with.

Masashi Hamauzu is my favourite, but he could probably use a break. He's worked on all the Lightning games so far, and has an awesome touring group called Imeruat. I actually think all the work might have made him go a little bit grey!

Same for Naoshi Mizuta. I hadn't anything from him before XIII-2 but he's phenomenal. He kind of takes a lot of cues from Hamauzu and others, but he's great. He's another that's been a bit busy and could use a break- Blood of Bahamut, XIV, XIII-2, and now Lightning Returns.

Mitsuto Suzuki's also in Imeruat so he's probably too busy.

Junya Nakano and Noriko Matsueda need to score some stuff, haven't heard enough of them recently. Two of my faves.

Anyone who had been following this game would have known this well in advance...

She's worked on the KH series. This is a big plus.

Shimomura is one of the best Japanese videogame composers, and in the industry in general. The stuff we've heard so far from XV has been great.
