PS4 and XB1: List of Supported Countries on Launch Day

Unsurprisingly, half the world will not get to play games on the Xbox One on launch day. (PS4, Xbox One)

Sony isn't shipping to all of those countries. I live in Korea and the launch will be delayed here for god knows how long. However, as with my ps3, I bought a Japan version near launch and it worked fine.

Side note: How can all of you claim as fact that Sony won (this new generation)?

Im a Sony fan but honestly, How can you say that? can you see the future?

"Utilizing all the facts available to any consumer at this given time; the PS4 has the most likely projection of winning this generation. It has the strongest odds in every single capacity used to judge the success of a gaming system before availability"...

That just doesn't have the same ring to it. If you prefer to hear the extended version; there it was.

TL;DR:
PS4 will win this generation.

No Microsoft console has beaten any Sony console during any generation.

Wow, no Japan. Thats a big market to skip out on and they can easily met the online demands of the XboxOne.
Smoovekid  +   556d ago
No one in Japan would buy an Xbox. They pretty much only buy Sony and Nintendo consoles.

I have no.idea why but this pix made me bust out laughin xD.M$ is a joke. They need to get out of the industry and Sega needs to reenter again.
Pandamobile  +   556d ago
Lol, as if Sega has the resources to re-enter the market.
Foliage  +   556d ago
Imagine if Microsoft bought Sega; even just for the name and PR.

As a Sega fan; that would be tragic; but a good move for them; as they have a horrible reputation with hardware manufacturing.

Are they so sure all these regions will have internet that day? What will happen if natural disasters cut up communications, what then?

Don't forget that it will be winter during launch date with the exception of Australia and Brazil...

Is this accurate ? Wow ps4 is gonna pump out consoles like crack.. And by the mood so far on the street peeps are gonna rob, beg and steal to get their hands on one too ... Just like crack

It's almost like Sony hired a mole at the senior management level at Microsoft to destroy the XboxOne LOL I cannot believe the disastrous decisions being made for the XboxOne. It's almost like MAD TV mixed in with Mr. Bean lol

That picture pretty much says there will be more people playing PS4 on launch day than Xbox1, all the places that can't play the Xbox1 will go get a PS4....bank on it.
S2Killinit  +   556d ago
Wow, I don't know how MS is operating these days.
azshorty2003  +   556d ago
There's no way this is accurate. Sony can't ship to the ENTIRE world on launch.
Foliage  +   556d ago
The image is not depicting areas that will receive shipments; it's strictly illustrating that if you live in one of these regions and obtain a console; would you be able to use it? (such as from ebay)

PS4: Region free; the console would work in any region. Just like the PS3.

Xbox One: Requires a daily check-in to xbox live; xbox live is not an available service in the countries depicted in gray. users would not be able to authenticate. Xbox One is also not region free (as far as what I've seen revealed). The region free comment is a minor point; as the daily authentication will trump all and brick your console until you do sign in every single day you use it.
