Take Your Shot At Soldier Front 2’s Closed Beta

Armies of eager fans can now pull the trigger on the multiplayer shooter they’ve been waiting for! Aeria Games, a leading global publisher of free-to-play online games, has announced that its newest online first-person shooter (FPS), Soldier Front 2, has entered closed beta after ending a tremendously well-received limited Early Access period. (PC, Soldier Front 2)

I would just like to point out that, as someone who's in the beta, it's a lot of fun. In particular, the map "Funhouse," which is a level made of three floors of glass. Underneath that third layer are spinning trampolines and spikes. Hit the trampolines, you go back up. Miss and you die.

I wish it had more weapons, though. Also, the leveling system is ass-backwards. There's seemingly 150000 "colors" to each rank, which begs the question: Why doesn't it just have a rank-to-rank leveling system. Because I never actually level up, I'm just getting different colors until they finally give me the next rank.

Still, I recommend more people sign up for it. And don't worry about performance as it plays between 120 - 180 FPS for me on max setting at 1080p. So yeah.
