Original Halo composer Marty O’Donnell, currently at E3, doesn’t seem to like the new trailer for Destiny much, although stressing how ‘proud’ he is of Bungie’s work.
sounds like someone is a little bitter for some reason. Welcome to the playstation family Bungie :)
Why would he be bitter? He worked on Destiny. What it sounds like is Activision decided to show what they thought would be best to show. There could be even more to this game.
how is he bitter? He is still part of Bungie and he is working on Destiny. He is probably not impressed since maybe he thinks the trailer is not representative of the game that he and bungie are working on. But then again he DIDN'T really technically say he did not like the trailer. “I’m so proud of everything the Bungie team has created and produced. The trailer was made by Activision marketing, not Bungie.” Do people here read the article first before they comment?
Sounds like somebody made a fanboy comment without knowing all the facts
Do I care? NO. The game looks absolutely fun and superb. The Co-op looks fun too. Can't wait man, this year is gonna be EPIC
Looked like a little bit like Borderlands, only on a massive scale with tons more ambition. Really looking forward to it actually the worlds seem incredible and it looks like they've gone all out
either way, I'm really looking forward to this one. looks pretty fun.
I was gonna type a comment about how Destiny hadn't grabbed me and how I hoped more gamplay videos would sell me on it. Then I went and watched some videos, and now I'm fkin sold.
This game was the most graphically impressive thing I saw at any of the press conferences, with the exception of The Division, the Ubisoft game. Destiny said next gen to me, as did the Division and Watch Dogs. Titanfall really didn't do it for me. I'm not a mech guy so that may be part of it. That 1886 Sony exclusive interested me more than Ryse, as the 1886 game has a supernatural element, which I'm very intrigued by while Ryse looks good graphically but again, as with Titanfall, that style of gameplay doesn't interest me.
They are hyping this game to the point where it wont live up to the standards expected. I would not buy this day one, def a wait for reviews consideration.
I liked what i seen and will be picking it up day one. ofcourse on my ps4.
As a Halo fan, Bungie absolutely was influenced by Halo with this game. And I would also add Borderlands given the character trees and "loot". However, not a bad mix, nor something I would shy away from. Remember though...Destiny is NOT an exclusive and is coming to XB1 and PS4.
