Just how polished an MMO needs to be when it launches in today's market. I'm really excited to see them push this game back and get everything done and done right.

This is one of the few games that may pose a threat to WOW. I don't think AoC has a chance to pull from WOW due to its higher system requirements than both WOW and WAR.

Your statements hold true "if" and only "if" it is done right.

I played DAoC for 4+ years, and got a 12 person guild invite for Warhammer 6 months ago that I'm still waiting on.

As far as posing a threat to WoW, it won't happen with WAR. WoW homogenized the MMO market to such a casual extent that no competition based game has a chance.

Casuals from WoW may try WAR, but they won't stick with it like WoW, just like DAoC people (mostly) couldn't stick with the dumbed down WoW.

Oh well, i'm severely disappointed in EA Mythic, yet hope they somehow can make a winner.

Yeah, that's why I only say "may pose a threat" and not will. I'm not sure there's anything that can topple WOW except Blizzard MMO 2.0.

The only reason WAR has a chance is it's similar in technical design such as you can run it on older machines but it will scale up and look prettier on newer machines.

Too many MMO's are pushing computers to their limits (Vanguard and Conan for example) leaving a lot of people out who aren't willing to drop $200-3000 on upgrades.
