Seattle has long been a battleground for the big video-game companies, which all have a presence here in software city. Now one of them has given Seattle a starring role as the battleground in an actual game.
Wow. What a shock. I never would have thought that this game would send a political message. Not after all that "being watched" talk at the PS4 conference, no no no.
It's like sending a message to MS and Xbox 1. Kind of like saying we don't like what you are doing to us as a gamer.
The reveal was terribly patronizing. I thought it was for Watch Dogs originally, a semi serious look at surveillance society. And then the jerk off on stage started talking about superpowers. You could tell Jonathan Blow thought it was overblown and stupid too when he came on stage afterwards.
Yeah, having a political message in a game about heroes and villains with cartoon powers seems a little out of context to each other, at least in by the impression we got when Nate Fox presented it. I was kinda hoping they'd drop it, because it seems really corny.
i'm looking forward to some gameplay at E3. inFamous 2 impressed me very much first time it was shown at E3 some years ago and it ended up being one of the best PS3 exclusives. Why does everyone have 5 bubbles? is it an e3 thing at N4G?
That's what some were saying about the bubbles. I,also, look forward to playing Infamous Second Son as the first two Infamous games were my second and third favorites this gen (MGS4 is the first). So I can't wait to see what the third installment will have in store.
replayed it last week , it really is amazing
i have only 2 T_T edit: huh ????
i should also have 2 :D
I liked infamous 1 better. Part 2 did have great graphics
i am missing one damn shard and it's nowhere to be found..
@abzine try going to the two piers on the end left corner of the left pier near the prison where you rescue zeek from the cage on the crane. When u push L3 the dot doesn't show up because of the water. Try there. That was my last shard. Easy to miss
Maybe you'll get to firebomb the Microsoft campus.
This and Watch Dogs relates very well to MS situation with the always-on kinect. :p
Your right, and don't call me Shirley.
Gamers to Microsoft and Xbox One: "You are not in control"
Always be on the lookout for the GREEN MENACE!
im preparing myself for this legendary day.
Lol, sounds so packaged. It's like "Comes with 1 political message! Collect em all!". This pretty much = politics co-opted by corporatism.
I am actually getting interested in this game. I am just worried how the sandbox will turn out.
