New FOLLOW THE MONEY documentary promises to delve into how industry makes money

If you've enjoyed the previous documentaries on GameTrailers.com, the team is going off the rails with an expose about how the industry makes money. Promising a top-to-bottom look at the business of games, they plan to talk to developers, publishers, retailers, PR, and even the press about how money makes the wheels go round.

And of course, there's a campaign for it:

http://www.followthemoneyca... (3DS, Android, Arcade, Casual games, Culture, Dev, GameCube, Industry, iPad, iPhone, Mobile, Next-Gen, Nintendo DS, PC, PS Vita, PS2, PS3, PS4, PSP, Retro, Tech, Wii, Wii U, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One)

Why not Kickstarter? Don't get me wrong I had heard of Indiegogo, and the site's layout seems easy enough to read, and identify, but I highly doubt it has the influence or reach that Kickstarter does. Does Kickstarter impose unfair royalities or something? I just have no idea why you would go with the lesser known site of the two when trying to raise funds?
