When IGN first heard that Star Soldier was going to be part of the Japanese WiiWare launch lineup, they were excited at the prospect of getting an old school shooter brought up to Wii visual standards. Unfortunately, Hudson apparently had something a bit different in mind for its launch title, which hit Japan today in a crowded lineup of nine games.
