I agree. When the smoke clears from E3, it's the games that matters. If MS delivers the games then they will be in a better position that they were post-reveal.

I'll buy XB1 long as the console offers software that catch my attention..

Theyellowflash302020d ago (Edited 2020d ago )

Ha you'll buy a console that won't even let you play a game that you borrowed from a friend and requires online DRM checks?

WOW, gamers these days. Letting Microsoft control that fact you won't even own the games you buy anymore.

You can't even sell your game online anymore. Most smart gamers would stay away from these anti consumer tactics but N4G never ceases to amaze me.

majiebeast2020d ago (Edited 2020d ago )

No offense. So you will bend over aslong as it has good games? Corporations must be happy that gamers would let their consumer rights be taken away for the next shiny.

I cant wait for the class action lawsuit that is waiting to happen here in Europe.

Microsoft would have to have one hell of a line-up to make me forget about these:

***"With Xbox One you can game offline for up to 24 hours on your primary console, or one hour if you are logged on to a separate console accessing your library. Offline gaming is not possible after these prescribed times until you re-establish a connection"***

***"In our role as a game publisher, Microsoft Studios will enable you to give your games to friends or trade in your Xbox One games at participating retailers"***

***"Third party publishers may opt in or out of supporting game resale and may set up business terms or transfer fees with retailers"***

***"Third party publishers can enable you to give games to friends."***

***"Loaning or renting games won’t be available at launch, but we are exploring the possibilities with our partners."***

And I'm still waiting for someone to convince me how the above quotes are good for gamers.

Games won't cut it.
This needs all it's anti-consumer policies reversed, including charging to use your own internet to play games.

RedHawkX2020d ago

any software they announce will be on other platforms wether it be the ps4, wii u, or pc and the pc and ps4 are more powerful so the games will play better on those 2 anyways. make the right choice.

Im going to be honest.... I hope both consoles do well but i don't think i like the fact that the X1 needs to be connected to the net every 24 hrs. For example i don't have my internet at the moment and would be pissed if i can't play my games. I just hope they change that policy. They can show games in 4k that would crap on any game. It wouldn't matter if i can't play it.

Raccoon2020d ago

They could show jesus and usher dancing together and i would not even think of supporting Microsoft and their scams....

Fake audience cheers
hiring people for internet reputation control
content control
unnecessary fee's
lack of constant core1st party games
Privacy and system requirements
2 AA batteries for xbox1controller

Gamers without self-control are going to destroy this industry...

We keep blaming the so-called casuals (those people who bought Wii Fit and play Facebook games), but it's the core gamers. Core gamers are the ones who buy DLC and map packs. Core gamers are the ones who pre-order and buy the collector's editions. Core gamers are the ones who pay for Xbox Live. Core gamers are the ones who rush out to get a game Day One instead of waiting. You guys encourage everything that is greedy and wrong about this industry.

VonBraunschweigg2020d ago

Nothing wrong with getting games day one buddy, next week I'll be visiting the shops daily to see if it's there, and I will buy it once I see it, and there's nothing wrong with that.

RedHawkX2020d ago

This isnt Red Dead. there is no redemption to be had here. M$ made there choice and it is the wrong one. Now real gamers will make the right one and not purchase the xbox one.

LOL you made me laugh with "This isnt Red Dead"

Except this time they won't have all the focus. There will be other good news around the gaming community to drowned out either the bad or good news.

Nintendo is smart with the Directs, they are for the gaming fans, not the media.

its way to late at this point. The Damage has been done, they can't repair what has been said and done. They cant do anything at E3 to impress me

SegaGamer2020d ago

I agree. Even if they released Phantasy Star Online 2 on the Xbox One i still wouldn't get it.
