I'm up for Dragonball after Super, but the canocity of this is going to be equally as awkward as GT. Also, I don't want Yu Gi Oh style thrown in my face in fighting Shonen anime form.

No you prefer Super Sayian 4 actually and its reasonable because its most amazing character and trasformation design ever. GT without SS4 is nothing really.

how about u stop shoving ur own opinion in everyones mouth. ppl love shows for different reasons. You think that its the best character and transformation, others dont. and even if he prefers GT over super because of ss4 then he still preferst GT over super. gtfo dude and try and keep your opinion to yourself because you are not good at sharing it without trying to force your opinion onto people.

OT: I actually hope they stop makin dragon ball anime series,a movie here and there would be alright. I liked seeing all the old characters again but the only noteworthy part for me was the goku black stuff and for the rest I was let down by it.

Literally any problem anyone has with Super, I can point to a ten times worse case of it in GT.

With ACTUAL asspulls, retcons, REAL plot holes, completely ignoring past lore, power scaling that's so bad as to be ridiculous, and more.

This better not be canon.

Dragon Ball Heroes is already weird enough to be thrown into the official Dragon Ball timeline.

Otherwise, I have no issues with them releasing an alternate show like GT.

Obviously is not Canon. Dragon Ball Super Anime will still be continue. Anyways, it will be fun watching SS4 Goku fighting SSGB Goku but also there reaction.

Super started really getting good whith the Tournament of Power, damn shame it ended after that.

It was seriously a build up that started in mediocrity, especially the animation.

But by the time it ended it was on some Anime Movie level type awesomeness.

Don't know what Heroes is about but it seems to be the same direction that Super was headed in, different multiverses and such.

It's basically fanfic: The Game. Every character has every transformation and the new characters are kinda generic but strong the whole thing's designed to sell cards to use in the cabinets anyways.

All this is though is a promo series, so I wouldn't expect anything big. Or for it to even be localized as it's basically a glorified commercial for an arcade game we don't even have here.

Sounds like it. I remember a long time ago there was another DB anime based on a game. They even had footage of the game in the anime.

There was an "OVA" back in the day called "Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans" that was actually a walkthrough to the "True Ending" of a DB game that was sort of like an animated VN where choices and actions you took affected the outcome.

Then it got reanimated and retooled a bit into a proper OVA and bundled with Raging Blast 2.

I really didn't like the tournament of power, the build up took too long although it had some fun stuff in the gathering of the fighters. But the tournament itself was too slow for me. Too much fights that I didn't care for, too much fights that were dropped and after 1 episode they started fighting again.

I think the Goku Black arc was too good in comparison for me to enjoy the tournament of power.

I have the opposite opinion. That arc was the weakest in the series to me, ToP was great. So many character moments leading up to and happening within it.

Dragonball is going to turn into Goku vs Goku. Goku vs Turles(look alike), Goku vs Ginyu, Goku vs Goku Black. Next Goku vs SS4 Goku followed by Goku vs New Goku.....

Milking the franchise as much as they can now.

The only good thing to come out of this franchise in the last 20 years are the games. I don't care what any fanboy says, Super is one of the worst Anime's made. Full of poor animation (yes, even late into the show, the time the fanboy's said it improved) full of contradictions, stupid transformations and names for them (Transformations were fun in Z, having the same thing done worse in Super is lazy) Pretty much every character regressing, and the downright stupid like Bulma having a sister (revealed in Jaco manga) I could go on and on about this show's faults.

Dragon Ball Evolution was possibly the worst attempt at making an anime into a live action film that i have ever seen.

Dragon Minus takes a dump over the beginning of Z, Goku's reason for being sent to Earth and how he ended up being good and not evil.

Dragon Ball Kai wasn't as great as it was made out to be. Cutting filler is fine, but they didn't just cut it, they gutted the life out of Dragon Ball Z. It feels too empty and rushed. Cutting the Saiyan, Namek, Frieza, Trunks, Android's, Cell and Cell games Saga's down to 98 episodes is over doing it. And the Buu arc is almost as long as all of these saga's combined because they couldn't be bothered to cut anything out of it. Kai was a good idea, but badly executed.

This franchise has exhausted all ideas now. Things just happen, there is no well thought out reason for why they happen, they just do, even if it contradicts past events.

Bro it's literally closer to Toriyama's manga, which has a LOT more life than that filler-plagued POS that is the DBZ anime. Buu Kai still had cuts.

Episode of Bardock is also a DB Heroes thing. DB Minus took a dump on nothing. Goku's nature was still changed by that bump to the head. Tarble is part of a one-off OVA celebrating Shonen Jump's anniversary. Nothing that's happened has contradicted past events.

And literally no one regressed in Super. Goku, Vegeta, Krillin, Gohan, Android 17 and Android 18, everyone develops.
