Project CARS to transfer to Steam "soon"; Slightly Mad Studios "looking to re-open WMD"

VVV: A new era for Slightly Mad Studios' widely-reported sim is dawning, as Project CARS is soon to be made accessible through Steam.

According to Andy Tudor (Slightly Mad Studios' Creative Director), the Project CARS closed beta will be making its way onto the popular PC game distribution network, as a result of the WMD members voting for which system they'd prefer the title to be hosted on.

The move to Steam also guarantees that, when the finished retail version of the title ships (currently slated for a Q1 2014 release), Project CARS will be available to download on that network. (Dev, PC, Project CARS, Slightly Mad Studios, Steam)
