Wanting Assassin’s Creed IV In Spite of Assassin’s Creed III

TMG: Assassin’s Creed III is one of my most personally disappointing games of this generation. I honestly don’t say that lightly, as I was extremely excited for the last major installment in the Assassin’s Creed series. As a franchise, to me, Assassin’s Creed has almost all been hits, as opposed to misses. While many were dismissive of the original Assassin’s Creed, I found it extremely interesting. (Assassin's Creed III, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, PC, PS3, PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One)

idk about this one.. I liked 3 but its too damn soon for a sequel imo.. Plus i dont see how this dual gen release can really harness the power of nx gen machines.. It will look better but other than a higher native res & stable frame rate, idk if its worth paying full retail for..

I loved Assassin's Creed 3 so I really don't know what this guy is going on about.

"The gameplay was made blander by the environment, which didn’t allow for any real parkour as the other games did."

I disagree here. The parkour elements felt even stronger to me than they did in the other games, especially with all those fancy fence jumps and pass-throughs you were able to do ^^

Also, I find Connor pretty interesting as a character, especially in the side-quests and DLC. I think he'll eventually grow on everyone if we end up getting AC3: Brotherhood ;)

I agree. I think we're the few who actually liked Connor. Sure he may not have been as charismatic as Ezio but he was still a cool character to play as. My only complaint with AC3 was the numerous bugs I encountered.

Was disappointed when I found out Connor was no longer the main character. Would have liked to see what else they could've done with him. Still looking forward to AC4.

I'm hoping we'll somehow see Haytham and Connor in 4, maybe something along the lines of Brotherhood's Christina missions, or Revelations' Altair shenanigans.
